Questions & Answers

Reading order

As I presently edit book 3, shaping, and write parts of book 4, building, I would say that you can enter the story pretty much everywhere. There will always be bits that will mean more to someone who reads all books and/or chronologically.

I would recommend that you start somewhere, you can connect to. Some of you will want to dig deep from the beginning. For you I’d say, start with book 1.

Others might be uncertain what to make of the whole idea and would rather ease into it by starting with one of the countries in book 2, travelling. Book 2, has a pretty extensive recap anyway.

But maybe, you are impatient and say: I want to know what’s happening now. I’ll start with book 3.
It’s that someone who reads book three will eventually read book 2 as well and when the town fever got you, you might be ready to dig into book 1.

And that’s maybe my only caution: book 1 is a story, and the main characters get their moments, but mostly it is an introduction into the town idea. I like it, but I love Book 2, travelling, which is more of an adventure: travelling to different countries, meeting people from various walks of life, clashing with strangers and a lot more. Plus many chapters of book 2, travelling, have a character of their own.

Book 2, travelling, is available in two books and as a complete edition.
